Tros yr Afon: Anglesey North Wales Wedding Videography
Sophie & Craig approached me after I had shot Craig’s brothers wedding the previous year, and had asked me to create a collection of wedding films for them to celebrate their joining together as a couple. Sophie & Craig both had some solid ideas that they wanted incorporating into their films, and I was happy to help them achieve their goals for their wedding film. After a brief discussion over a coffee, we came to the agreement to feature some of their own personal self shot footage from their travelling adventures into the wedding film and to incorporate their love for the sea and the North Wales coast.
We agreed upon extending the standard wedding day coverage to include two extra shooting opportunities, a pre-wedding shoot on an Anglesey beach to capture Craig and Sophie enjoying their favourite outdoor activities and the other to be the pre-wedding drinks and BBQ taking place the evening before the wedding day. Making a bespoke and personal film was very important to Sophie and Craig and I enjoyed working with them over the duration of the project and was thrilled at their positive feedback to the films I created for them.
The wedding venue Tros yr Afon is set on the island of Angelsey off the North Wales coast, its an idyllic and picturesque area a stones throw away from the beach and the Monastery where they had arranged to be married.
The coast and beach area was to feature in their film extensively with a bridal party photoshoot on the beach and the guys blasting down the coastal roads on skateboards. My photographer partner for the day was the talented Emma Pilkington, she was a dream to work over the day and her work from this wedding was featured over on the Rock My Wedding blog.
So here it is, a beautifully themed wedding film to reflect the beautifully themed wedding. So kick back and enjoy the extracted sample teaser from their feature film. I invite you to send me a message if you would like to see the longer film, you can contact me here.
